I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of urgent importance, namely, the refusal of the British Government to establish a new inquiry into the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of 17 May 1974, 31 years ago this week, and the need for the Irish Government, as recommended by the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights, to take a case against the British Government to the European Court of Human Rights.
