Question 8: To ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources his views on the fact that Ireland remains in the 22nd place in the 2005 World Economic Forum's networked readiness index, part of the Global IT Report which measures the propensity for countries to exploit the opportunities offered by ICT; his further views on a report of the European Commission (details supplied) which shows the Government slipping down the rankings in various categories of e-government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
