I have two related questions. The Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse Act 2000, Additional Functions Order 2001, was struck down by the courts as being ultra vires because the Minister was acting outside his powers. When will the draft resolution to revoke the order be brought before both Houses of the Oireachtas? Does the Government intend to bring forward legislation to deal with the issue of vaccine trials? This was attempted in 2001 but it was subsequently struck down by the courts.
