I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following issue of urgent public importance: the need for a full report on the plans to ration water in Carlow following the contamination of the public water supply with the parasite, cryptosporidium, which can be fatal, especially in the light of the ongoing concern about the lack of a general hospital in the county and the fact that there is no Irish standard to measure the incidence of the parasite.
