Question 6: To ask the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if he has received the recent report commissioned by the Joint Committee on Arts, Sport, Tourism, Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs on the role of voluntary workers here; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that despite volunteers saving the State up to €485 million per year, volunteering is on the decline with organisations finding it more difficult to recruit and retain workers; if he plans to take action in view of this report; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
