I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the announcement today by Castlemahon Foods, County Limerick, of the loss of 150 jobs, the loss of 35 jobs at O'Reilly vegetable distributors in Newcastle West and of 26 jobs at Drumcolliher engineering which, with the recent closure of Kantoher poultry with a loss of 140 jobs, will have a serious economic consequence for west Limerick requiring Government to direct State agencies to replace these jobs immediately.
