Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
10:30 am
Aengus Ó Snodaigh (Dublin South Central, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the findings of the independent investigation into the death of Róisín Ruddle at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin where management has failed to solve the staffing problem that led to this tragedy and this failure resulted in subsequent cancellation of surgeries for other children; and that the Department of Health and Children was aware of and failed to act to address the crisis for almost a decade.
