I announce for the information of the House that I received a communication from Deputy McCreevy in regard to his appointment as a member of the Commission of European Community and to advise the House that Deputy McCreevy, having become a member of the Commission, ceased to be a Member of Dáil Éireann on Monday, 22 November 2004.
