I seek the Adjournment of the Dáil to discuss a matter of urgent public importance, namely, the announcement of 66 job losses at Sram Ireland in Carrick-on-Suir, giving a live register figure of 1,000 in a town of 5,000 people; the need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to announce the prioritisation of Carrick-on-Suir for job creation and investment; the need for the Minister for Finance to announce the decentralisation of approximately 300 IT jobs for the town and to ask the Minister to make a statement and to agree a deputation.
