I thank the Deputy. On the roads he refers to and requires, we are seeing an increase in funding for our road network over the next five years. It is true that the Government funds but it is also about working with the local authority and its members to ensure, whether it is the N71 or the different relief roads the Deputy is talking about, that the works take place. Certainly the volume of traffic in west Cork has increased. I am very familiar with the places the Deputy referred to. I am there quite a lot. The whole piece around safety is one we need to look at and I have spoken to the relevant authorities about that already because it is a source of concern. The Deputy made reference to tractors being stuck behind cars. He is right to because people are taking chances in some cases. I will talk to the officials in our Department about the issues he has raised. I am sure he has spoken to Cork County Council about the roads he has mentioned here. It is fair to say though we have seen funding in some of the projects the Deputy referenced. The town of Bandon in particular has benefited from some of the works we have done.
