The cost of agency staff caught my eye. My view on agency staff is that we should be planning for a more permanent service and permanent staff and we should try to recruit and retain staff in the service to build up continuity of care. There is also the cost of agency staff. I mean no disrespect to individual agency staff who do a good job and are needed.
