Storm Floris hit on 1 August 2025 and there was a yellow warning for Mayo. The Mayo border is about a mile and a half from my home. Unfortunately, storms do not stop at borders. The storms and the winds will keep coming, so we need to have the responses ready in the corresponding counties. The CCMA needs to get the communication out. I think I got two instances of correspondence from the Roscommon committee during the whole 13 days that I was without power during Éowyn. There were certain people sitting on the committee who were getting all the information. The other 17 councillors were not getting the information.
