At the start of the project, the decision was taken to deploy XDS-PON in the network. That gives the same speed and ability to download and upload data. For any small business or anyone in a rural area uploading files, there is the ability to upload them at speed. Many traditional services gave decent enough download speeds but it was very hard to upload or share files. We went for a future-proofed technology from the start to make sure that bandwidth and service for uploading and downloading would be available.
