I hear that. I thank Mr. Maloney very much for coming in and sharing the human face of this issue. It is easy to read a report and not understand that there are real living breathing human beings behind every single line of it.

Retrofitting is a bit like the new house syndrome. If you are going to move or get an extension, you say "we'll do that after we go to the new house" or "we'll do that after we get the extension". I have a sense that any kind of repair work will be put on hold, which means more and more flats will be boarded up, essentially, while residents await the retrofit. One would have to wonder about the wisdom of that in the middle of a housing crisis. I hear what Mr. Maloney is saying about retrofitting. Any enhancement will be welcome. Certainly anything that could deal with the mould would be welcome.

We all know the damage that can be caused by mould. There is only so much Cillit Bang can do. I get that it is like trying to hoover the Sahara when it is coming back at you. In terms of the retrofit, has Mr. Maloney been given any kind of a timeline for that?
