He mentioned that the CRU's primary focus is to protect consumer rights and shield consumers. My question relates to regulatory powers in hedging. He will know that Irish energy prices have fallen more slowly since 2022. Wholesale gas prices, for example, have reduced by 70%, but the prices have increased by 74%. Has the CRU conducted any investigations? Is it satisfied it has enough powers to monitor and regulate hedging practices of large energy companies? Has it conducted any investigations that required disclosures from the energy companies? Has it received any complaints from energy companies about the rate at which others are increasing or decreasing their prices?
