Since the scheme started in 2022, up to the end of quarter 1 this year, which is the last published figures, there were over 1,700 affordable purchase homes made available by local authorities. I absolutely contend that there is a range of affordable housing supports. This is just one. There are lots of households who feel that their affordable housing need has been met with the assistance of the State via the first home scheme and via cost rental properties. These people are currently living with rents they can afford and with mortgages they can afford to pay, in housing that has been supported by the State. There are 14,500 of those supports being met in that time.
