I have been critical of the balance I see coming through from the Government in terms of actions. There is discussion around the risks versus the benefits of AI but, for example, I would be critical that that balance is not there in the programme for Government. I am keen to hear the witnesses’ analysis of policy development in this area. Do they think the Government is getting the balance right between risks versus benefits of AI in terms of actions rather than rhetoric?
