On the security, continuity and dependence of the energy supply, it was beneficial for the committee to have EirGrid and the ESB in earlier. The PSO levy will go through the roof if everything is done using overhead lines. Storm Éowyn did not take out the transmission lines. It only knocked down the distribution lines.
