That is a very difficult question for me to answer. My concern is about my reputation. It is on the public record - I did everything I could - that I inherited a project that was extremely poorly conceived and initiated and that I did my best to rescue it at every turn. That is important. I am glad to have this forum at which to make it clear that I did my utmost, and I kept the Department informed. For me personally, it is a very disappointing outcome. I came to the Arts Council because I had worked across the board. I thought I had a lot to bring to it. I had lots of plans that I wanted to introduce.
