Ms Chapman is so right in what she says about the skill set a teacher would need to deliver that. I remember being in secondary school and our teacher bringing in the Sunday newspapers to the English class and asking us to analyse the advertisements that were in them. This was the 1990s. We were asked to understand the subliminal messaging. That was not on the curriculum but that was her trying to get us to understand the nuances of messaging. That was outside the curriculum. It was her trying to drive and probe our minds.

On the issue, or correlation, maybe, of the decline in print media, is that significant in terms of the rise of disinformation?
