There is certainly an element that people mostly travel in their local area. By definition, therefore, these road traffic fatalities are happening close to home. There is a piece where people think this is all happening in the early hours of the morning when actually the risky time is during the day, up to approximately 8 p.m. From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on any working day, Monday to Friday, is a more prevalent time than later in the evening or in the early hours.
