On identification, I again make the point that this is not an identification process. Looking at the eight use cases in our submission, it is about sifting and reducing huge numbers of images for decision by a Garda member. That is the key point. Not only is it not autonomous machine decision-making, all it is doing is organising and reducing the footage to a manageable amount.
