Regarding An Post and the database, it works with Fiontar and logainm.ieto take those translations and populate its database. Therefore, the addresses which contain the Irish places, the SIs, are then brought into the An Post database which then go into the eircodes. The issue of which we spoke in earlier meetings was the number of translated addresses in the Gaeltacht areas. Since we last spoke, within the last year, An Post has updated its database for 3,700 addresses to bring it up to a level of nearly 94% fully translated addresses in the Gaeltacht areas in its database which then gets transferred to eircodes.
