I might start by setting out the terms on which we operate in the asset base that we cover and the legislation that has been put in place for the establishment of Uisce Éireann. Based on the rules under which we operate, we can only invest in public assets that have been vested to us by the Minister. Where public assets do not exist, it is not within our remit to invest capital expenditure on those areas.
