Mr. John McCarthy:

There was an increase of €21 billion in the debt between 2019 and 2022. However, we accumulated a lot of financial assets, as the Secretary General said, at 0% debt, so the increase in net debt was approximately half of that, or about €13 billion, right across the pandemic period.
