I note that some of them did write and say that they have not transposed a directive yet. There are some that are very important and worth noting. I suggest the Chairman send out a press release on the work of this committee. An EU directive published in May 2023 which is not due to be transposed until July 2026 relates to the application of equal pay for equal work between men and women. I know that primary legislation is being worked on in relation to that directive and it is to be confirmed whether this will involve a statutory instrument or just primary legislation. The other one is the EU directive on gender balance among directors and a listing of companies. That is listed for December 2024 and again, whether it is relevant to this committee needs to be clarified.
