I move amendment No. 20:

In page 27, to delete lines 18 to 21 and substitute the following: “5A.(1) Notwithstanding section 7 of the Criminal Law Act 1997, it shall not be an offence for a trafficked person to aid, abet, counsel or procure another person to commit an offence under this Act relating to the trafficking in, or to, the State of the trafficked person.
(2) It shall be a defence to a prosecution for an offence, other than a serious offence within the meaning of the Bail Act 1997, for a trafficked person to show that he or she did the act constituting the offence concerned as a result of coercion, intimidation or harassment or otherwise as a direct consequence of having been trafficked.”.”.

This works in tandem with the previous part of the section.
