The first set of accounts relates to the Heritage Council for the financial year 2022. It received a clear audit opinion.

The next set of accounts relates to An Bord Pleanála for the financial year 2022. It also received a clear audit opinion but, as in the previous year, attention was drawn to a couple of issues outlined by the board in the statement of internal control. The first issue was in respect of the status of a number of ongoing reviews and reports regarding matters of serious concern which arose in 2022 about the board's operations. The second area relates to penalty payments that were incurred by the board in the three-year period from 2021 to 2023. These related to delays in decision-making on strategic housing development applications.

The third set of accounts relates to the Ombudsman for Children's Office for the financial year 2022. It received a clear audit opinion.
