It is just to get clarity about the contract, that is, the tripartite agreement. It was only a month and a half after Deloitte raised concerns about the consultancy fee invoices that this contract was signed by an agent representing Ryan Tubridy. No one has signed it on behalf of RTÉ. The second last paragraph in the contract reads that, once signed by all parties, the agreement would constitute a legally binding document and it would be acknowledged that there had been a valid consideration of the agreement. Without those key signatures, has anyone checked this foundational document, which led to three payments being made to Mr. Tubridy, to determine the legality of this entire saga?
