It may have been legal, but does Mr. Lynch not think that at the time that was against the spirit of things? When everyone else was taking a pay cut within the organisation, did Mr. Lynch not think that was sly, deceitful and fundamentally dishonest of RTÉ management? Was Mr. Lynch okay with that? Why did Mr. Lynch or others who had elements of knowledge of the deal not bring that to the attention of the board?
