Reference was made earlier to the Abbey Theatre not being really a community. All of the cultural institutions have given us lots of material about their activities. The Abbey Theatre's Priming the Canon series creates plays for young people and performs them in schools, libraries and arts centres all over Ireland. With pre- and post-show workshops and online learning materials, the theatre brings classic Irish plays into the heart of the classroom. To date, shows like "Me, Mollser", "Me, Michael", "Mise, Mícheál" and "Me, Sara" have been seen by more than 24,000 young people.
