Speaking with another hat on as Chair of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Education, Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, we have had a number of meetings over the last month or so on science, technology, engineering and mathematics, STEM, subjects, and veterinary medicine was mentioned more broadly in some of the witnesses' statements.
