It is a fantastic hospital with a tremendous team. There has been an increase in staffing at the hospital. We are seeing a fantastic uplift, particularly in the context of the construction under way there. There is a significant amount of activity. The hospital caters for nearly 400,000 people across five counties. It covers all of County Roscommon in terms of a level 3 hospital but it also reaches as far as north County Tipperary. It delivers so much for areas such as Westmeath, Galway and Roscommon. There may be other challenges in delivery but any supports for staffing at the hospital would be welcome. It is the only emergency department within the Saolta group that has not undergone work. Any attention Mr. Gloster can pay to the hospital in his new role would be greatly appreciated.
