I will be honest and say that I have never really felt that there was adequate security in any public hospital in which I have worked or that if an incident occurred, security staff with the right level of training to be able to deal with situations in a appropriate manner would be available to us in the right amount of time Again, this is not a reflection on those individuals working in security. I am referring to the system as a whole and what needs to be done for them to be able to help us in those situations.
