We have about 11,500 inpatient beds for a population of approximately 5.1 million. We are clear that the number of inpatient beds is not where it needs to be and is not particularly high when we look at EU comparators. We are looking at increasing that number of beds. Over the last three years, 970 additional inpatient beds have been added to the system. There are a further 209 this year and there are 49 we still have to determine.
