Obviously, we are here today to discuss the report of the Commission on Taxation and Welfare. The commission's role was to look at ways to broaden the tax base. I hear what the organisations are saying about particular tax proposals they do not agree with but, as the whole concept was to consider how to broaden the tax base, will they advise as to how things could be broadened in their own sectors outside of those particular proposals they disagree with?
