While it is obviously urgent that we come up with some sort of solution, and harking back to something that somebody mentioned earlier on precautionary principles, whatever solutions are proposed should ensure that there is an awareness of the landscape effect. In the context in which a rewetting event is happening, it is very important that that is captured more broadly than in respect of the site itself in order to ensure that we do not end up with perverse outcomes down the road, particularly when we might have somehow looked at it in a better way.
