For the past three years, in conjunction with Animal Health Ireland, AHI, private vets have been doing dry cow consultations with farmers and selective dry cow therapy has been pushed, as every dairy farmer knows. A great many dairy farmers are doing it. Anyone who is milk recording is certainly doing it.
