Essentially it looks at the average concentrations of nitrate as part of the drinking water standard, which is 50 mg per litre. In the Irish context that is very high and there would not be very many. The areas impacted by that would be very limited. It then looks at average trends. It also looks at utrification or monitoring points that could face utrification.
