I have sympathy for any employee who finds himself or herself in a situation of redundancy. It is very distressing to lose one's job and to be without a means of income, but also the social engagement and friendships that have built up. It is a very difficult situation so, of course, I have a huge amount of sympathy for anyone in such circumstance.
