Dalen produces book cover posters and material that could be used in classrooms or by retailers. Creating material that retailers can use to promote titles and series for us is important. With point-of-sale material, a lot of retailers might not have the space for it.

Coming back to the crucial element of storage and representation and getting the message out, Áis does a wonderful job of taking material and storing it in its own distribution warehouse. It has a representative on the road but it is one representative for the whole country. The Books Council of Wales has a team of six representatives on the road, including schools representatives. It has a distribution centre and provides a service for publishers. That could be replicated in Ireland.
