Architects of the Good Friday Agreement (Resumed): Mr. David Donoghue and Mr. Rory Montgomery
Mr. Rory Montgomery:
On the factual side, the DUP, a couple of Independents and the UK Unionist Party, led by Bob McCartney, were against the agreement. The UUP, a couple of Independents and the loyalist parties, which also had a couple of representatives, were in favour of it. That is one factor worth pointing out.
