I strongly feel that if people state they are gifting an amount of money to the State, the State should be able to state whether it received that money. I imagine this would be the case for any individual, whether an employee of ours or not. If people publicly state they are gifting money to the State, the State should be in a position to confirm whether it received the money. This is a direct question. I am aghast that we cannot confirm whether the State received money that people purport to have gifted it.
