While I am not accepting amendments Nos. 152, 153 and 155, I will move amendment No. 154, which inserts "including persons who are competent in the Irish language”. We discussed this last time. I do not like the idea of asking people to show how they got on in an exam. We do not ask people on the board of SFI to tell us what they got in their leaving certificate in science. I do not like the idea of asking people to produce proof that they have a level B2 or higher of competency in spoken Irish but I take the point. We had a convincing discussion on this and I am trying to make progress by inserting "including persons who are competent in the Irish language” but not putting a specific level or percentage.
