Not relief, but that a potential problem had been averted, that problem being this challenge that he posed to the authority of the Government. Many people felt a greater allegiance to what he had to say, and felt that his word was that which ought to be followed rather than that of the Government. There was huge confusion about what was law and what was guidelines. Of course, the Tánaiste fell victim to it when he attended Ms Katherine Zappone's party across the road from where Mr. Fraser works. All of that created a lot of confusion about the authority of the State and the authority of a democratic government. Essentially, who was in charge was not clear. Was there any relief that this potential problem had been averted?
