With respect, we are holding sessions dealing with an important issue of the appointment or otherwise of a pivotal person in the provision of health services in this country over the past two and a half years. It now falls to us to make a determination as to what we are going to do in the future.

Are we going to spend the next six months discussing this issue and asking questions about the whys and wherefores of what happened or are we going to do what needs to be done as a matter of urgency, to wit the provision of a comprehensive health service in this country, along the lines we have been speaking about for the past year at least, in the post-pandemic situation? Was Mr. Fraser made aware of the fact there was a serious difficulty and a serious health issue that had to be dealt with in terms of the provision of health services throughout the country in the post-pandemic era? What he aware of it? Was he made aware of it?
