It is a source of fear and worry for us that the very thing we celebrate as unique and special about our family will inevitably one day be turned against her, and she will be told that source of joy and celebration is the reason she should be fearful and shameful and is less than. Inflammatory language here and outside of here, therefore, really matters and has short- and long-term impacts.
