After doctors finish medical school, they do internship. We have about 725 intern places for Irish and EU doctors. There were a few more last year due to Covid, but in general 725 doctors would graduate each year. They would be the ones who have come through the Central Applications Office/Centra Admissions Service, CAO/CAS.
