The amendment changes the original subsection (e), which concerns the sale of a product. It is no longer a matter of the sale of a product — which entails the shop — because the shop is not providing the credit at all. The amendment captures the credit provider that makes credit available by way of advertising to consumers. In some cases, it is the shop that advertises rather than the credit provider.
