Mr. Lawler mentioned the Commission on Pensions, the work done by the Vincentian Partnership for Social Justice and the minimum essential standard of living, MESL, rate, the rate required just to get by.
In terms of the different categories of people, who is further away from those rates? Is it pensioners or, for example, single parents or those depending on working-age payments?
